Grrrr… zombie processes from Apple Mail

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but as of the 10.5.6 update, Apple Mail now creates a zombie AddressBookSync process every time you send an e-mail.

If you send enough e-mails, you’ll find that your process table is full and your machine just won’t work properly.

That's amusing given that the top line in the release notes was something like "improved stability and performance".

I've found Apple Mail to be really bad recently. I wish they'd stop adding things I don't need, like RSS support and stationery and just make it work well as a mail client.
