San Francisco

For the past week, I’ve been in San Francisco, attending Apple’s World-Wide Developer Conference. The first thing I’d say is that if you’re an Apple developer, WWDC is well worth the fee (and, indeed, the air fare). But more importantly, San Francisco is great. The city is well worth a visit; there is plenty to see during the day, and the restaurants and night-life are brilliant.

If you’re after good restaurants, of those I’ve visted on this trip, Cortez and Ponzu are easily the best. Indeed, our waitress in Ponzu, Jill, deserves a special mention, as the service was excellent. Plus Jill is very pretty :-)
